Editor's declaration of interest

[edit]

I am a member of the Conservative party and a resident of Robertson's Tewkesbury constituency. Andrew Oakley (talk) 17:34, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Then you are probably a personal friend, and probably a supporter of the subject. Should you be editing at all? Rustygecko (talk) 10:32, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not all party members within an MPs constituency necessarily know the MP. As they have already declared a potential stake in the topic, they should be fine to edit. Moostcho (talk) 21:08, 26 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of votes

[edit]

@DrFoster48:, you added some content about Robertson's votes on gay rights. The source you added is a primary source, which means it does show that the content is true, but doesn't necessarily mean that it is notable. If you can find a secondary source which says that Robertson is notable for his votes on gay rights, then feel free to re-add. Have a look at WP:SECONDARY for more information. Otherwise we could add every single vote of his to the article. Absolutelypuremilk (talk) 19:17, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
